Tim Scannell is the Site Editor for SearchEnterpriseWAN.com and works with technology writers, experts and others to produce editorial that provides useful information for people charged with administering and maintaining WANs in the enterprise.  He has more than 30 years experience as a writer and editor, most recently operating as a research analyst and consultant focusing on mobile, wireless and networking issues in the U.S. and Europe. 

Scannell has worked with a number of leading companies on deployment projects, and brings this knowledge to the job of presenting useful and relevant content for WAN executives.  He has worked for a number of leading technology publications in the past, including Computerworld and Computer Reseller News; has helped launch versions of PC Week, PC Magazine and LAN Times in Japan as an executive for SOFTBANK Japan; and was a freelance technology columnist for The Boston Globe.  Scannell is also a member of the GlobalScots international network of executives.
