Yes, to achieve the VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification, you must take the $5000 VMware class then pass the test. This video does not substitute for the official VMware class if you are going for the VCP certification. However, for about $199, this video is an excellent 15 hour training course on VMware ESX Server and the VMware Infrastructure in the real-world!
