Just because HA was configured wasn't the reason the VMs all powered down during the switch failure. The isolation response default config was to power down VMs on hosts that became isolated (still running, but without heartbeat to other hosts and no access to isolation address). This setting can also be set to leave VMs running. Just wanted to make sure folks understood that HA works and does it's thing, but that it is important to understand how it works before implementing it.
