Joseph Foran is the Director of IT for non-profit FSW, Inc. He has led a major migration to server virtualization, Linux and open source applications, and Internet-enabled technologies. In his role as Director, he is responsible for working with executive and line management to come up with cost-efficient uses of technology that will better enable client services, employee efficiency and increased grant revenue. Joseph serves on FSW’s Leadership committee, where he advises and collaborates with company management on both technology and business decisions. FSW’s services extend across Connecticut from six locations across the southwestern portion of the state. Prior to FSW, Joseph was an IT manager at filtration manufacturer CUNO, Inc. and at sports league Major League Soccer. He has also been a systems admin with consumer goods giant Unilever, as well as a consultant for the State of CT’s Dept. of Corrections, Dept. of Mental Health and Dept. of Education. |

Andrew Kutz is deeply embedded in the dark, dangerous world of virtualization. He is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), a SANS/GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN) GOLD and a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in Virtual Infrastructure 3 (VI3). Andrew is the author of the popular open source project, Sudo for Windows. He is employed by the University of Texas at Austin and has served there for nearly a decade as a systems administrator and developer. Recently, he was an analyst for Burton Group. Scott Lowe is a senior engineer for ePlus Technology, Inc. He has a broad range of experience, specializing in enterprise technologies such as storage area networks, server virtualization, directory services, and interoperability. Previously he was President and CTO of Mercurion Systems Inc., an IT consulting firm, and CTO of iO Systems Inc.
Rick Vanover is an MCSA-certified system administrator for Belron US in Columbus, Ohio. Previous roles included software engineering roles with Siemens and Dematic in Grand Rapids, Michigan, working with complex supply chain execution systems. Rick has been working information technology for over 10 years and virtualization technologies for over seven years and has been publishing articles online for over six years.
