VIIP, beam it into your step:

Google

Q: Who plans to accelerate innovation, and offer a superior solution at a lower price?

Posted by: viip
PeopleSoft, IBM, Inherent Quality, Software Quality, Oracle, Google

A: Oracle and PeopleSoft say they do.

BTW recently the PeopleSoft Technology Blog shared awareness of a new site that is devoted to the Middleware Developer and perhaps a place to help you start creating SOA with your PeopleSoft applications. The site includes a link to this page of Oracle Blogs (semantic web view here, not all blogs included). Ideally the blogs further beam value inherently (intrinsically and pervasively) into your step. In any event, if your neighbors are partying and you can’t sleep perhaps you’ll find yourself doing some related reading… for example, William Vambenepe (IT management in a changing IT world) recently wrote about various IT management stories and provided a link to RedMonk’s People Over Process blog which included a link to Eric Schmidt IBM and Clouds | IT Management and Cloud Blog.

As the cloud and related applications continue to evolve and transform the value of the user experience, what database do you think will be largely inherent?

Search engine partnering, upstarts, mergers and advances

Would it be good if Google and Yahoo partnered more? How about if they merged? Will upstarts somehow be further catalysts that help to drive innovative leaps beyond semantic, multimedia and other challenges? As a result of search engine partnering, upstarts, mergers and advances, how will surfing the web evolve by (and what will it look and feel like by) 2020?

Master of 500 Hats (”A blog about Geeks, Entrepreneurs, & Startups in Silicon Valley”) aka “The Internet Revolution, Act II” said it would have been more impressive if Google did the roll out a year ago, but that it still is pretty cool. What do you think about the recently launched Google App Engine?

Story here, excerpt below. Will promoting competition delay the world from acting more as one on matters of high purpose? Will more competition or more teamwork make things better?

France won EU approval Tuesday to give $152 million U.S. to several companies hoping to build a European rival to U.S. search giant Google Inc.

Have and make more FUN

Posted by: viip
Inherent Quality, Software Quality, Google, Internet Evolution, Fun, Alliance, ITKE

As this space suggests, FUN, is important. Ideally at least a few visit the space and then join in the fun associated with TechTarget including ITKE. The growing realization that “Fun” is important is showing in changes to sites, products and more, our methods of conveying information in an entertainment fashion using video, games, social features and so on.

Shaw once essentially said changing your mind, enables change. He also once essentially said that imagination is the beginning that enables desire so you can will what you imagine and create what you will. Did someone will “Fun” into conventional enlightenment to bring more of it to the world? Is studying a way, studying ourselves, and does that mean we have to forget ourselves to be enlightened by thousands, millions or billions of things? How important is inner enlightenment to inner joy? How important is it before giving instruction? Must we learn to more so fuse with all beings and nature to become more enlightened? For example, doing a quick Google on or for “enlightenment” recently showed “about 20,200,000″ results; is this related to innate Google improvements, an increase in interest, and an increase in content? Perhaps you have read the post “what does enlightenment mean to you” or perhaps you have read Senators responses to open letters or perhaps you have connected with a phenomenon whereby many sites and blogs somehow seem to share a connection to Deepak Chopra. Perhaps there is a connection between “Fun” and making it more evident that what must come increasingly into reality is collective optimism around the notion that a world united in effort and determination, can persevere to transform its optimism to hope, and its hope to imagination? Perhaps there is a connection between “Fun” and making it more evident that the key inherently to success is an essential need to elevate collective consciousness, a universal mindset within a universal community or alliance for a much required new humanity? Within “Into Great Silence” these words exist, “In the simplicity of God exists the unity of a divine community through its godly nature” … “the spirit is the essence of life”. Does this somehow relate to the Internet community? Does it somehow relate to the Mahasamadhi taken February 5, 2008 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi? Does all of this somehow relate to helping to elevate the law of pure potentiality within the unity of a divine interconnected Internet of communities?

Are we moving in a direction to make exploration, science, a knowledge sharing culture, and life in general, more fun? Will doing so be connected to helping each person understand the importance of their contributions (for example of each raising and sharing the positive energy of the inner kindred spirit)? Will the direction make it more evident that all need to understand that the law of pure potentiality applies to them? Deepak once described the law as follows… “This law is based on the fact that we are, in our essential state, pure consciousness. Pure consciousness is pure potentiality; it is the field of all possibilities and infinite creativity. When you discover your essential nature and know who you really are, in that knowing itself is the ability to fulfill any dream you have, because you are the eternal possibility, the immeasurable potential of all that was, is and will be. This law could also be called the Law of Unity, because underlying the infinite diversity of life is the unity of one all-pervasive spirit. There is no separation between you and this field of energy. One way to access the field is through the daily practice of silence, meditation and non-judgment. Spending time in nature will also give you access to the qualities inherent in the field: infinite creativity, freedom and bliss.”

IT is a field of possibilities and each of us in the field can help unlock real and expeditious continual improvement, by having and making more fun in the process of enabling tremendous gains before, by and beyond perfect vision leap year 2020. Each person must realize how vital they are in the overall quality and value equation. Ideally Oprah’s upcoming 10 week class starting March 3 will help many find their purpose. Ideally the book Inherent Quality Simplicity will be of some help too. Ideally so too will injecting “Fun” and making it pervasive. All touched by software, technology and information need to come together to amplify positive energy and enable a better quality of life, for all, in this generation and for the generations of future history. Ideally each person finds what it is only they can do and does it because the type of change that is needed in our interconnected universe has to start at the individual level and grow quickly. Perhaps these words by Neale Donald Walsch (shared with cwg.org approval) will help understand this? “It takes a great deal more energy to alter Collective Consciousness than it does to alter Individual Consciousness. Yet Collective Consciousness can be altered when the alteration of the Individual Consciousness reaches critical mass. When sufficient individual energies are lifted, the entire mass is elevated to a new level. The work of Conscious Evolution, therefore, is the work of changing consciousness at the individual level. That is why every effort to do so is critical. Every individual undertaking, every individual thought, word, or action which leads to the transformation of the Self and to the lifting of any other being, is of extraordinary importance. It is not necessary to move mountains to move mountains.”

Ideally many will continually have and make more “Fun” and ideally internalizing these words will help them act in a positive way,

I’m asking you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about real change … I’m asking you to believe in yours

What the bleep do we know? Perhaps there is a creator of the interconnected dimensions of space and life on earth, and their asking each of us to believe in our innate qualities and abilities to bring about positive change to achieve our life’s purposes and help to make things better so all can have more peace, love, happiness, joy, and fun.

Virtual world will be part of making the real world better

Posted by: viip
Inherent Quality, Software Quality, Google, Security, Internet Evolution, Unification

The prior post stated what could be part of the answer to easily finding and helping to mature innate quality, value, excellence and simplicity. It is up to each of us however to inquire into and contribute to the emerging evolution of software quality and the internet (perhaps both currently in part 3, and associated to increased degrees of unification and having positive energies become more one). Will the future of algorithms and protocols better determine content quality and be more developer-friendly with correspondingly higher degrees of performance? Will website design templates be used increasingly in part due to sharing a blog post comment apparently from an Amsterdam-Netherlands organization? Will a pedestal be reserved for companies who help achieve high purposes or offer free web services? Will the value inherent to the concepts of sharing and polling be part of increasingly making the world better? Will a thinking net of micro and macro perspectives draw IT Pros and the general public increasingly together? Is it possible the virtual world will be part of making the real world better? Will the increasing dimensions of positive collective imagination and wisdom continually help intrinsically and pervasively evolve the concept of perfect vision, and of what a ’leap year’ should mean to all? In the end, part of the answer is free web services, and doing whatever you can to help advance matters of high purpose.

“pedestal is now reserved for companies like Google, which offer them free Web services”— Nicole Ferraro, Site Editor of Internet Evolution (relates to this poll)

Ideally the virtual world will be part of making the real world better, so that tremendous gains result for current and future generations. Ideally this new website, SearchFinancialSecurity.Com, will be of some valuable assistance.

To be part of what earth and humanity friendly IT Pros do, perhaps you contribute to the daily green, perhaps you share daily ecogeek stories, perhaps about innovations that help save the planet, perhaps you share earth2tech messages, perhaps you share awareness of a blog that tries to widen a circle that suggests performance will be better (and more will be achieved) if more seek to bring together business interests and the interests of the environment and society. To be part of what earth and humanity friendly IT Pros do, perhaps you in someway try to help minds increasingly come together to help make a better IT and collective imagination and actions that help a better IT increasingly help make a better world. Perhaps you live within and contribute to the mystery of the evolution of a world changing and of world changing ideas that increasingly by perfect vision leap year 2020 and beyond have potential to somehow help make quality and value increasingly occur inherently and be more so innate from many perspectives. Whatever you do to be part of what earth and humanity friendly IT Pros do, Thank You! There are many ways to help make things continually better, and what you do indeed makes a difference. Reading this book may help you better see this, or help you in some ‘way’ to produce a valuable idea. Regularly visiting SearchSoftwareQuality.Com may too, and as a registered member of the site you are entitled to a complimentary copy of Section V of Inherent Quality Simplicity. Whether taking big green to Hollywood (e.g., i, ii), or sharing a few simple words in a blog, you can be part of what earth and humanity friendly IT Pros do to make quality and value increasingly intrinsic and pervasive.

Humble beginning

Posted by: viip
Inherent Quality, Software Quality, Google

Everyone starts somewhere (e.g., 1, 2, 3); and even a template may need to be vacuumed (e.g., 1, 2, 3). While particular use cases may be very low these days (e.g.), each success of a humble beginning is important. This post is a thank you to Mike (a member of my new team) for quickly resolving a recent challenge that was impacting multiple databases - customer sites. Well done. Thanks also Mike for ongoing dedication and perseverance. The many contributions to success you have made recently have been noted and are very much appreciated.
