Global Free Trade

March, a month that implies action, rising, new life, beginning again. This month and onwards as the world marches towards 2020, will there be greater forms of collaboration and teamwork? Will greater alliances bring greater fellowship? Perhaps strong reactions will somehow help to enable expanded thinking about the possibilities of new or enhanced agreements for greater levels of Global Free Trade. Will the world increasingly come together (pros and public) to increasingly address matters of high purpose to continually make things better? For the benefit of all, will forgiveness, compassion, love and belief (e.g., in oneness), increasingly free egos, lift fun and value, and celebrate life within the interconnected universe during March and April, and onwards to 2020 and beyond?

Today is the start of a festival in Ireland where over 1 million will celebrate for five days culminating on Monday March 17 with a world famous St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Ideally the green luck of St. Patrick will help everyone find the pots of gold awaiting them at the end of the revelation rainbow. Echoed below are a few words from an earlier post. Ideally they help somehow to increasingly evolve quality and value.

A new Internet record

Did Oprah’s first webcast class of “A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose”, set a new World Wide Web record? 1,860,000 streamed or downloaded it within 1 week. Have you listened to the Flavor of Life? Many likely have not; however click the link and look at the numbers reported by Wikipedia about the Flavor of Life, and then imagine the potential of the Internet and the new records and improvements to quality of life that could be related before, by and beyond 2020. For example, imagine how the United Way is and can be increasingly enabled by software, technology, information, the Internet, and pros and public coming together increasingly as one to be of help to others. This way, this unified hand, could potentially increasingly enable harmonization around initiatives of high purpose. In general a united way is a good way. It can increasingly enable a helping unified hand with far positive reach. In any event, some good news reported today by Tony Bradley (see: Microsoft and Nortel Strengthen UC Partnership; IBM Pledges $1 Billion Investment in Unified Communications). A positive open unified interoperability of people and machines is on the rise and may even lead to unimagined goodness from various perspectives.

A New Humanity

There are some good words under the heading of “Enjoyment” towards the end of Eckhart Tolle’s new book, A New Earth. Buy the book and look for them. Also be sure to visit the Alliance for a New Humanity. 

Ideally as each of us progressively look within, learn and continually evolve, we will be of increasing service to others while being increasingly connected to something far greater than our bodies, minds, and egos.

A commitment to world peace and global cooperation

Below are a few of the powerful words within Al Gore’s Nobel Prize acceptance speech (full version here). Now is the time to grow a real and sustainable commitment to world peace and global cooperation. 

I have a purpose here today. It is a purpose I have tried to serve for many years. I have prayed that God would show me a way to accomplish it.  

Mahatma Gandhi awakened the largest democracy on earth and forged a shared resolve with what he called “Satyagraha” – or “truth force.”  

Truth also has the power to unite us and bridge the distance between “me” and “we,” creating the basis for common effort and shared responsibility. 

There is an African proverb that says, “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” We need to go far, quickly. 

We must abandon the conceit that individual, isolated, private actions are the answer. They can and do help. But they will not take us far enough without collective action.  

That means adopting principles, values, laws, and treaties that release creativity and initiative at every level of society in multifold responses originating concurrently and spontaneously.  

This new consciousness requires expanding the possibilities inherent in all humanity. 

We must ensure that entrepreneurs and inventors everywhere on the globe have the chance to change the world.  When we unite for a moral purpose that is manifestly good and true, the spiritual energy unleashed can transform us. We must understand the connections between the climate crisis and the afflictions of poverty, hunger, HIV-Aids and other pandemics. As these problems are linked, so too must be their solutions. We must begin by making the common rescue of the global environment the central organizing principle of the world community. 

The world needs an alliance 

These are the last few years of decision, but they can be the first years of a bright and hopeful future if we do what we must. No one should believe a solution will be found without effort, without cost, without change. Let us acknowledge that if we wish to redeem squandered time and speak again with moral authority, then these are the hard truths:

The way ahead is difficult. The outer boundary of what we currently believe is feasible is still far short of what we actually must do. Moreover, between here and there, across the unknown, falls the shadow.  

“Pathwalker, there is no path. You must make the path as you walk.”

We are standing at the most fateful fork in that path. So I want to end as I began, with a vision of two futures – each a palpable possibility – and with a prayer that we will see with vivid clarity the necessity of choosing between those two futures, and the urgency of making the right choice now. 

The future is knocking at our door right now. Make no mistake, the next generation will ask us one of two questions. Either they will ask: “What were you thinking; why didn’t you act?”  

Or they will ask instead: “How did you find the moral courage to rise and successfully resolve a crisis that so many said was impossible to solve?”  

We have everything we need to get started, save perhaps political will, but political will is a renewable resource.  

So let us renew it, and say together: “We have a purpose. We are many. For this purpose we will rise, and we will act.”

Have and make more FUN

As this space suggests, FUN, is important. Ideally at least a few visit the space and then join in the fun associated with TechTarget including ITKE. The growing realization that “Fun” is important is showing in changes to sites, products and more, our methods of conveying information in an entertainment fashion using video, games, social features and so on.

Shaw once essentially said changing your mind, enables change. He also once essentially said that imagination is the beginning that enables desire so you can will what you imagine and create what you will. Did someone will “Fun” into conventional enlightenment to bring more of it to the world? Is studying a way, studying ourselves, and does that mean we have to forget ourselves to be enlightened by thousands, millions or billions of things? How important is inner enlightenment to inner joy? How important is it before giving instruction? Must we learn to more so fuse with all beings and nature to become more enlightened? For example, doing a quick Google on or for “enlightenment” recently showed “about 20,200,000″ results; is this related to innate Google improvements, an increase in interest, and an increase in content? Perhaps you have read the post “what does enlightenment mean to you” or perhaps you have read Senators responses to open letters or perhaps you have connected with a phenomenon whereby many sites and blogs somehow seem to share a connection to Deepak Chopra. Perhaps there is a connection between “Fun” and making it more evident that what must come increasingly into reality is collective optimism around the notion that a world united in effort and determination, can persevere to transform its optimism to hope, and its hope to imagination? Perhaps there is a connection between “Fun” and making it more evident that the key inherently to success is an essential need to elevate collective consciousness, a universal mindset within a universal community or alliance for a much required new humanity? Within “Into Great Silence” these words exist, “In the simplicity of God exists the unity of a divine community through its godly nature” … “the spirit is the essence of life”. Does this somehow relate to the Internet community? Does it somehow relate to the Mahasamadhi taken February 5, 2008 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi? Does all of this somehow relate to helping to elevate the law of pure potentiality within the unity of a divine interconnected Internet of communities?

Are we moving in a direction to make exploration, science, a knowledge sharing culture, and life in general, more fun? Will doing so be connected to helping each person understand the importance of their contributions (for example of each raising and sharing the positive energy of the inner kindred spirit)? Will the direction make it more evident that all need to understand that the law of pure potentiality applies to them? Deepak once described the law as follows… “This law is based on the fact that we are, in our essential state, pure consciousness. Pure consciousness is pure potentiality; it is the field of all possibilities and infinite creativity. When you discover your essential nature and know who you really are, in that knowing itself is the ability to fulfill any dream you have, because you are the eternal possibility, the immeasurable potential of all that was, is and will be. This law could also be called the Law of Unity, because underlying the infinite diversity of life is the unity of one all-pervasive spirit. There is no separation between you and this field of energy. One way to access the field is through the daily practice of silence, meditation and non-judgment. Spending time in nature will also give you access to the qualities inherent in the field: infinite creativity, freedom and bliss.”

IT is a field of possibilities and each of us in the field can help unlock real and expeditious continual improvement, by having and making more fun in the process of enabling tremendous gains before, by and beyond perfect vision leap year 2020. Each person must realize how vital they are in the overall quality and value equation. Ideally Oprah’s upcoming 10 week class starting March 3 will help many find their purpose. Ideally the book Inherent Quality Simplicity will be of some help too. Ideally so too will injecting “Fun” and making it pervasive. All touched by software, technology and information need to come together to amplify positive energy and enable a better quality of life, for all, in this generation and for the generations of future history. Ideally each person finds what it is only they can do and does it because the type of change that is needed in our interconnected universe has to start at the individual level and grow quickly. Perhaps these words by Neale Donald Walsch (shared with cwg.org approval) will help understand this? “It takes a great deal more energy to alter Collective Consciousness than it does to alter Individual Consciousness. Yet Collective Consciousness can be altered when the alteration of the Individual Consciousness reaches critical mass. When sufficient individual energies are lifted, the entire mass is elevated to a new level. The work of Conscious Evolution, therefore, is the work of changing consciousness at the individual level. That is why every effort to do so is critical. Every individual undertaking, every individual thought, word, or action which leads to the transformation of the Self and to the lifting of any other being, is of extraordinary importance. It is not necessary to move mountains to move mountains.”

Ideally many will continually have and make more “Fun” and ideally internalizing these words will help them act in a positive way,

I’m asking you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about real change … I’m asking you to believe in yours

What the bleep do we know? Perhaps there is a creator of the interconnected dimensions of space and life on earth, and their asking each of us to believe in our innate qualities and abilities to bring about positive change to achieve our life’s purposes and help to make things better so all can have more peace, love, happiness, joy, and fun.

From collective optimism comes collective wisdom

Ideally Inherent Quality Simplicity will be of some help or inspiration on route to architecting and growing patterns and aspects for continually increasing collective optimism, wisdom and perseverance. Ideally so too will the Oprah Class, even for IT Pros. As competitors increasingly become alliances on higher purposes, and as they leverage interrelated connectivity with the general public, the bits of future history will increasingly enable quantum leaps to new dimensions of software, technology, information and life, by being both one and zero at the same time, and in such ways by enabling higher, deeper and new types of levels, circles and waves of innate value and joy. Inherently the phenomenon continues to emerge; among its benefits are and will increasingly be continually enabling positive energy around collaboration and a knowledge sharing culture. This will only further drive innovation and growth upwards and inwards on route to greater and greater returns that help to increasingly make dreams come true and a new worldview towards a continually better humanity. This generation has a tremendous responsibility and opportunity, and the time is now for IT Pros to come to life to help enable tremendous progress before, by and beyond the perfect vision leap year of 2020. From collective optimism comes collective wisdom, and as the universal IT Pro community and profession increasingly give each other positive energy, they will increasingly generate greater clarity and beam greater viip (value-inherent, intrinsic and pervasive) into the steps of all.

Become more one

Reading a SearchSoftwareQuality.Com article, Software development trends in 2008: Outsourcing, agile development (26 Dec 2007), you may venture to reading an article noted within that is from way back in Feb 2007, The state of software quality, part 2: The challenge of building quality into the development life cycle. Within it you may discover this quote, “If you give someone four hours to do an eight-hour job, there’s a limit on what they can do no matter how motivated they are”—Kaner. You may next feel there is some value in the quote and decide you agree to a degree. For example, perhaps commenting along these lines… if you give a person half the time required to do it right, and then distract them during with emergencies, further reducing their time and decreasing their focus, you can expect, short of a miracle or superpowers, that outcomes overall will be less than ideal; even if they have the right attitude, rest and skills. Sure, they might complete deliverables within an allotted window, but they may not have had the luxury of time to consider the impacts of what they quickly produced. Ideally they managed to avoid performance issues, security threats or other matters including serious harm in someway to the world. In any event, their meeting a target date may be far worse than if they just said no to begin with. Anyone who has been around the industry long enough knows that additional resources, methodologies, tools, proper attitude and more are among important or essential items, however when it gets down to well defined requirements and estimates, many start cutting chances of great outcomes very early. Many issues therefore can often be avoided most likely with a simple bit of realism injected into getting the right resources (e.g., people and machines), and allowing the right amount of time, while inherently practicing proactive risk management and sharing positive energy to keep morale high. Of course such things are sometimes easier said than done, and sometimes what it really comes down to is simply, education. For example, those setting the target dates and constraints (e.g., financial), are not always the ones with it [the education, or the essential knowledge]. They are therefore not always the IT Pro, and what more often may be needed is for the Business and IT to become more one, and for both to better educate each other and work more as one. By doing so, and by increasingly also involving the consumers or general public within overall success formulas, they may even discover many more ways to enable increasing levels of inherent quality, value, excellence and simplicity.

Pure Potentiality

The Law of Pure Potentiality

There is pure potential for a better IT, and for a better IT to make and join alliances to produce a better humanity (e.g. watch this clip).

In the waves of interpretations, and in the ripples of dimensions, the essence continually evolves. Taking us to higher and higher inward and upward levels it exists and is real. All versions we shall see are interconnected by to be discovered common strings of the source. Worlds need not collide to transform collective consciousness. Change begins within. It starts within each of us. Progressively we see we are the same inside. Increasingly we become more so one with each other and the source as the manifestation becomes increasingly intrinsic and pervasive.
