Deep and Blue, and Green

Inherent Quality, Software Quality, IBM, Dr. Dobb's

In many ways quality is becoming increasingly inherent. In the process so too is value. Intrinsically and pervasively, the manifestations of both are taking us to higher and deeper levels. This blog, and the book IQS, take no credit. They do however share awareness and applaud progress. For example: IBM Deep Computing Visualization and IBM System Blue Gene Solution. For several related 2007 press releases for the latter (including 4 Dec 2007, “IBM Donates Blue Gene/P Supercomputer to Spur Scientific and Socio-economic Growth in Africa”), see this page. Looking back on 2007, let’s also remember this $1 Billion IBM allocation to advance “Green” Technology and Services. Well done IBM! Congratulations on your progress and awards (e.g.).

PS: the following IBM related 2007 news shared prior on InherentQuality.Com

“After a successful operation, the reloaded Booch has a second life that now extends into a modern day matrix where he is awarded by Dr. Dobbs for excellence in programming.”
