I am a Senior Systems Analyst with over 10 years experience as a network administrator in a Windows Environment and 16 Years in IT. I have administered and managed Exchange 5.5 to 2003, SQL 6.5 to 2005, IIS 3 to IIS 6, and I have a good amount of experience managing Cisco, Juniper and Watchguard network and firewall equipment. I believe that the best network administrators are lazy. They are always looking for easier ways to do things and automate the boring tasks, so they can focus on the more interesting work. Along these lines I have always tried over the years to script much of what I do with VBScript and Windows Management Interfaces (WMI) and to find tools that will help make my job easier.
