We are beyond up to our figurative eyeballs in data. Digital information is everywhere and no one can honestly say they’ve figured out just what to do with it. Businesses want to harness and monetize it, some governments want to regulate it – but which information and how and when remain open ended questions. Then there are those who believe access to digital information should be unfettered, that it belongs to everyone.
