Obama and Reddit

Hi all,

Social media is big in the current age of the Internet. It is a very direct way for people that don’t directly deal with the people lives that they have great influence in. The president of the United States recently did a AMA (ask me anything) on Reddit (link below).

Despite that the site didn’t stand up for long against the onslaught of people trying to either read or contribute to the page it was a great step in the right direction. Having a way to connect with these people is incredibly powerful and obviously popular. Congrats Mr. President Reddit was apparently happy to see and hopefully this encourages more of these types of interactions.
