Need another email address but not another email box?

Hi all,

If you ever need an additional email address just to sign up for something or activate an additional Twitter account, you don’t need to get another email box… at least if you have Gmail.

With a Gmail account, you’re automatically given a googlemail.com account, so if your email is myname@gmail.com, this means you automatically already have myname@googlemail.com.

Need even more options? Gmail doesn’t recognize periods in email addresses, so you can also splice up all the letters before the @ with periods. Using the example email address above, you could input my.name@gmail.com, myna.me@gmail.com, mynam.e@googlemail.com and so on! And they will all go straight to your regular old Gmail inbox.

Til next time,
