I hate to be the downer but; why don't they do something truly exceptional and different, like a graphical subsystem? Maybe even a monitor and keyboard port on the back with a built in LPAR tool so I can admin my AS/400-iSeries-systemi-POWER server without having to by another server/workstation with a different OS to configure it? How about some actual low cost hardware that developers can buy and learn/develop on? How about making all the IOA's and hardware the same serial numbers and prices as the pSeries and stop charging me more for the same thing?

David, I like the new "i" logo, too. Web 2.0 is a term used to death -- so I'll just say the new logo looks very clean and modern. They did a good job designing it. Interesting post - looking forward to hearing more about POWER. Thanks for the update.
