I thought it might help to clarify the SANscreen 5.0 release includes updates to all of the SANscreen products, not just the change management capabilities. Change management is 1 critical component of SANscreen but it is only 1 component. The SANscreen 5.0 release includes array performance support to additional arrays which enables IT to proactively balance and improve utilization resulting in the removal of array hot spots. The new VMware vCenter plug-in enables customers to manage both Server and Storage domains in context with each other resulting in increased utilization. The iSCSI support allows customers to apply storage services within iSCSI environments resulting in improved operational efficiencies. And the Data Warehouse and new reporting capabilities allow customers do address many of their global capacity management, charge back, tiering etc. reporting requirements. So as you can see SANscreen is so much more than a Change Management solution. SANscreen 5.0 enables IT to apply data center efficiencies to storage resulting in improved storage operations, better utilization and reduce costs.
