The course cost is $169 for full SSWUG.ORG members and $199 for non-members. The cost of the DVD with purchase of the course is an additional $199. The DVD costs $399 if you do not purchase a course seat. Course downloads, office hours and the ability to email questions to the instructor are included with course purchase only.

Class attendees will have access to me via a live chat daily (once I get back from Europe next week), through out the month of the class, to get all their questions answered.

The presenters for these sessions are all top notch presenters.  I will be delivering the Manageability and Security sessions and other presenters like Robert Davis (SQL Server MCM and MCM Project Manager) will be delivering the other sessions.

You can read the details of the various sessions on the QuickStart site which is setup for this very special set of classes.  The cost for his great set of classes is only $2495 which includes access to tons of lab material.  If you don’t want access to the lab material then you can register for the classes only you can sign up for just $1500.  Personally I would recommend getting the classes and the labs to get the most benefit from the classes.

There will be plenty of time during the sessions for Q&A during and at the end of the session, so bring your questions about Seattle, PASS, etc and we will see if we can’t get all your questions answered before you even arrive at the summit.

And if you’ve been to the PASS summit before feel free to attend tomorrow’s session as well.  There is always something to learn about Seattle and the summit.

On Tuesday September 6th, 2011 at 10am Pacific Time (1pm Eastern, 5pm GMT) I will be putting on a webcast to give first timers (and people that have attended before) some critical information about Seattle and the summit that they should probably have before actually getting to Seattle for the summit.

No registration is needed, just sign into the live meeting when the webcast is supposed to start.  You can also go to the meeting lobby that day and I should be able to approve you in that way, but I think signing into the live meeting directly would be the best bet.  I have made a calendar invite that you can download and import into your calendar.  The invite is in iCal format.

I will be recording the session and I’ll make it available for viewing after the session, but this is your first chance to ask some questions about the summit during the Q & A at the end of the session.

All I ask is that you pass the information about this session along to others who are attending the PASS summit as they will hopefully get some useful information about the Seattle and the PASS summit as well.

Day 1 will focus on “Platform” (Hyper-V, virtualization architecture, high availability & clustering)

Day 2 will focus on “Management” (System Center Suite, SCVMM 2012 Beta, Opalis, Private Cloud solutions)

Day 3 will focus on “VDI” (VDI Infrastructure/architecture, v-Alliance, application delivery via VDI)

The class is being taught by two top notch presenters Microsoft Technical Evangelist Symon Perriman (a good friend of mine, who knows his stuff) and leading Hyper-V, VMware, and XEN infrastructure consultant, Corey Hynes.

Each of the days is a separate event so you need to sign up for each one separately.  I’ve made each of the days a separate link to make your life easier.   Just click through each link and register.  The only downside to the amazing training opportunity is that it is happening during the Dev Connections conference, so if you are attending Dev Connections in April, 2011 you won’t be able to take advantage of this amazing FREE (did I mention FREE) training event.  As I’ll be at Dev Connections I won’t be able to make it, which is something which I really bummed about.
