This year at the PASS Summit there will be a daily bingo game.  This isn’t the standard sit in a room while someone calls out numbers.  No you have to find the people who’s names and faces (for the most part) are on the bingo cards. Continued »

Slide Decks and Sample code from Quest Day with the Experts

Quest Software, SQLServerPedia.com, In Person Events, Service Broker, Brent Ozar

The slide decks and sample code that Brent and I presented with have been uploaded.  The recordings have to be edited down, as Live Meeting uses a single large recording, and no one wants to sit through a 5 hour recording, so it’s being broken down into smaller chunks.

The slide decks are hosted via Slide Share and the sample code from my presentation is up on the SQLServerPedia.com servers.

SQLServerPedia.com/Wiki Launch Party at PASS

Posted by: mrdenny
Quest Software, PASS, SQLServerPedia.com

All,

I have just been informed that there will be a Lanch Party for the SQLServerPedia.com website at PASS on Wednesday the 19th.  If you will be attending PASS be sure to swing by Booth 414 (Quest Software’s booth) and pick up your party invite.

Details for the location are on the invite, so be sure and pick one up on Wednesday.

If you haven’t been able to make it to a party that Quest has put on in the past, they tend to go all out.

How Healthy is my SQL Server Enterprise webcast has been archived

Quest Software, SoSSE

I’m happy to say that the webcast which I did with Jason Hall on Thursday October 30, 2008 has been archived for after the fact viewing. They say that it is up there for a limited time, so I’m not sure how long it will actually be available for.

You can find the webcast over in Quest Software’s Events section.
