Hi, I'm actually looking for info on if/how to migrate Virtual Server servers to Hyper-V and troubleshoot issues. I have some differencing disks that I copied over and tried to reconnect, but for some reason it says I do not have permission to do so. Is there a community forum for such things? If so, could you drop me a note with a link? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for all the userful info!

Hi,

I noticed you're using VMM Essentials. Do you know where I can go to download a trial of this? Is this part of System Center Essentials 2007? I have the stand alone version of SCVMM but it doesnt work yet with Hyper-V. I can add the win2k8 host but scvmm wont recognize any VMs on it. I would like to try the version you used which perhaps has better support for hyper-v.

Thanks,
Nate

How do you get your Hyper-V Servers in VMM? Did it work?

When I tried, VMM added Virtual Server to my Hyper-V Server. Not very usable.
