Windows 7 Mapped Drives not showing in program install

Was moving a client to a new Windows 7 machine and one of the programs that needed to be installed need to see the mapped drive for the location data. Well in Windows 7 that behavior was changed so you don’t see those mapped drives. But you can add that ability back by doing this.

Open the Registry and the HKey_Local_Machine and Software and Microsoft and Windows and Current Version and  Policies  and System and add DWORD EnableLinkedConnections and set the value to 1
