Resizing Virtual Disks
Posted by: MikeLaverick
Readers of my guide (Admin II) will know there are many ways to re-size a virtual disk after using vmkfstools -X (partition magic, volume manager, diskpart)… BUT did you know that the Knoppix Linux Boot CD 3.8 ships with a free repartitioning tool called qparted? It can handle – ext2/3, fat/32/ and NTFS. I used it successfully today on my Windows 2003 Virtual Machine.
