Consolidating Oracle Database 10g/11g on VMware Infrastructure and EMC Celerra

This whitepaper looks at three different configurations for consolidating Oracle databases on VMware Infrastructure and EMC Celerra storage. Each configuration includes details on the virtual machine and storage configuration (including LUN layout) and includes options for backup/restore, test/dev and disaster recovery. These configurations were developed and tested by EMC in conjunction with VMware:
