Changing your keyboard and mouse settings
Posted by: MikeLaverick
During the installation, you may accident set incorrect system defaults such as wrong Keyboard & Mouse Settings. If you choose default as your installation type – your keyboard is set to US. You can use the command-line utility to change these defaults.
- Logon to the Service Console, as ROOT
- Type:/usr/sbin/setup

- In the menu, choose Keyboard Configuration
- Select your keyboard type from the list

- Choose OK
- Choose Quit to exit Setup
