Project Monitoring talks about a continuous and periodic analysis of a project plan to understand the timelines and milestones as per initial plan and find out the gaps, if any. Project Monitoring team’s main role is to keep an eye the ongoing project to monitor its progress, and take immediate mitigation action in case of a gap is found out in planned goal due to any risk. The mitigation plan that is now a new component of the project plan is updated to all stakeholders respectively with the newly defined timelines for achieving project goals.
