Greg Annen has 20+ years of technical experience in software development, enterprise system support and IT Quality Assurance. An innovative problem solver, his vision and expertise in system architecture and functional test automation have helped clients increase QA productivity and improve workflow processes while remaining focused on the needs driving their business. He has worked with several Fortune 500 companies.
Offering a unique blend of creative and technical strengths, Greg has achieved professional growth through a broad range of business experience, including software development, system integration, client education, customer service, manufacturing and distribution. His working knowledge of a wide range of IT technologies and test automation tools has proven to be a valuable asset in leading a variety of software development and functional test efforts. These include the creation of advanced test automation frameworks using keyword and data driven models, which have led to dramatic increases in test coverage while reducing the need for extensive script maintenance.
Greg takes a hands-on technical approach. He is known for his ability to quickly identify problems encountered with automated test script execution and to propose, and usually implement, an effective solution. As a Quality Assurance professional, he believes in total engagement in the full Software Development Life Cycle: he actively participates in requirements reviews with business analysts and developers and coordinates test runs, coverage analysis and defect resolution prior to deployment.
Greg received his BA in English from Loyola University in Chicago, where he also minored in Philosophy. His other interests currently include creative and technical writing, website development, portrait painting, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
