Overheard: Using technology to control children

Technology, audio
shami-chakrabarti.jpg Imagine the outcry if a device was introduced that caused blanket discomfort to people of one race or gender, rather than to our kids. The ‘Mosquito’ has no place in a country that values its children and seeks to instill them with dignity and respect.

If you lived where I do the kids have no respect and certainly no dignity as they are underage drinkers loitering around throwing their empty bottles at passing cars and please don’t say call the police they rarely come as its not a priority, I think the ‘Mosquito’ is a wonderful idea where can I buy one?

Here’s a link to the company that sells them.

Ironically enough, teens have adopted the Mosquito sound wav as a ringtone for their mobile phones, so they can use the phones in school. Teachers can’t hear the phone ring, but kids can.
