I was very glad to hear Bug Labs, with its open source hardware mashups, won CNET’s Best of CES 2008 award for emerging technology.

Bug Labs is kind of like a “Build-A-Bear Workshop” for hardware devices. Very empowering.

This is exactly the technology I need to work with a school balloon satellite program. They launch payloads on weather balloons to collect data. This type of modular hardware is perfect for that. Thanks for featuring it. If I didn’t get this update in my email, I would have missed out entirely!
