Being always available is a great tragedy of modern times, where work/life balance is destroyed, turning humans into robots at the beck and call of that invisible, insidious entity known as “expectations.”

I concur. I’m all for setting boundries when it comes to technology 24/7.

Big discussion at our house over whether this was staged or whether he just forgot to turn off his phone. My son thinks he forgot to turn off the phone and that answering his wife’s call was kind of “endearing.” I’m more cynical.
