		<description>Good article.  One thing to note, for a really stong password, in the Windows world, it should be greater than 15 characters long.  This is due to the LM Hash function only holding 14 bits.  

But 8 characters is certainly good enough for most situations, if high security isn't absolutely necessary.</description>
