Shows us how far Linux has penetrated the IT world, and continues to grow. Canonical’s joining Linux Foundation is also another indication how far Linux has matured and ready to take on that other OS in direct competition for the corporate desktop as well as the server market. Time to get hardware vendors to port drivers directly to Linux.
