Cached Credentials, How to Clear Cached Credentials on a Windows

Everybody knows that Windows caches Usernames and Passwords, include domain credentials and credentials that we type in when we try to access shared resources, when we click the Save Password feature. But question is how to Clear this cache in case you have to do so.

So, to clear cached credentials on a Windows-based computer do the following steps:

  1. Open Command Prompt.
  2. Type the command: rundll32.exe keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr

Hi,

can you please tell me when we enter a network path of any machine like (\192.168.1.1) a popup appears. if you can tell me what services start this popup and which ports on network it uses.
