Just because it has a separate keyboard, that doesn't make it a PC
Obviously you are a lover of apples, otherwise you might view some of the positives of the Surface like being to run office apps on a tablet.
You have also missed the very obvious point that Microsoft have waited 10 years for a 3rd party hardware manufacturer to come up with a viable tablet hardware, and they have got bored

@Elhajjh - Isolated world? Apple's "isolated world" appears to have many developers profiting off of it. It appears to have a distribution model that is direct and cannot be interrupted by competition unlike a Best Buy for instance. Microsoft can use a very well done version of Office to help this thing... along with truly aggressive pricing. If they try to price themselves out of the market at the outset, they'll fail. Every platform is isolated in some way. This is what I have found Mr. Elhajjh... maybe you should think a little more about that concept...

The Microsoft Surface Pro is the tablet/PC that business has been waiting for. It merges the desktop/laptop productivity tool with the entertainment/presentation device of the best tablets.

I can see every sales person lusting after this device and corporate IT departments happy to fully intergrate MS Surface tablets into their company IT infrastructure.

This device will eat into Apple iPad sales, but I believe it will totally destroy Google Andriod tablets.

Welcome to the new tablet world, iOS iPad for the consumer, MS Surface for business. Android and other OS tablets dead.
