Free IT books: Just help us review them!

Giveaways, IT Books, Product Reviews

The fine folks at Prentice Hall just sent us a fresh batch of IT books and we want to let you know how they are, but our ReviewBot needs all the help it can get.  Can you give us a hand? Right now, we’ve got the following books up for grabs:

  • Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting Guide: Field-Tested Solutions for Everyday Problems, 2nd Edition
  • VMware VS and vSphere SDK
  • PM Crash Course for IT Professionals

If you have a U.S. mailing address and would be willing to write an informative, creative review of the above books, let us know and if we like your idea (even just a straight-forward review!), we’ll ship you a free copy, yours to keep.

Leave a message in the comments with the book you’d like, or e-mail me directly at Michael@ITKnowledgeExchange.com.

I would like to check out Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting Guide: Field-Tested Solutions for Everyday Problems, 2nd Edition. Unfortunately, I have a Canadian Mailing address - but have had no problems getting my ITKE tee shirts using that address. No hope?

I would be happy to do a review on Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting Guide: Field-Tested Solutions for Everyday Problems, 2nd Edition and/or PM Crash Course for IT Professionals.
I would be able to check out some of the ideas within the book at my work. As management looks to cut costs, my boss and I have taken on a much larger IT role and will continue to until the entire scope of IT is within our capability.
Let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for the interest Xenophon22! Unfortunately, someone already snagged both of those books, but I’ll keep my eyes open for more books in the area and we’ll probably post again soon … There was a lot of interest, and you sound like you could give a great spin on the right book.
