Today’s featured member, OldSysAdmin, has been involved in the community for some time now. He has a Bronze badge and a badge in AS/400 to prove it, too. He’s been in IT since 1966, when it was still called DP. He started as an operator and programmer, but his interest in hardware and system software opened the door for his Systems Programmer position in mainframes until the mid-90s. Since then, he’s all AS/400 all of the time. Whether it’s RPG ILE, tape drives, or general AS/400 questions, Don is always willing to lend a helping hand. If he’s helped you out recently, be sure to approve his answer and pay the knowledge forward!
