Zipping Up PDF Files

In my application developed using Visual Basic 6(SP5), I would like to run the Winzip to zip up all the pdf files in a specific folder without showing the Winzip interface. May i know how to do it? Thanks

There is a free Command Line add on available from WinZip for licensed users of WinZip version 9 which will allow you to run WinZip with no graphical user interface. See //www.winzip.com for details

    Another couple options if the zip comporessioin needs to integrated with your app. -EllTech took over developemnt of Compression Plus, which is an extremely handy Active X wrapper for the mzlib utilities. Adding four lines of code for a basic zip/unzip operation. -If you have acopy of pkzip.exe, you could use that by shelling it out from the vbshell command, using either a batch distributed with your app, or by a single command line passed. Licensing may be problematic, however. -I remember there was some talk for incorporating the mzlib compression directly into newer releases of window. If this is the case, there should be api documentaion for it.
