Zero fill numbers

I have an address field with a 6 digit zero fill street address. eg, 1032 is 001032. I need to eliminate only the leading zeros.

    Where do you need to eliminate them? On screen or a report? Is the field defined as numeric or Alpha?

    Sorry did not notice the 6 digit definition. Is this field to be printed with out the leading zeros for a mailing application or just to make reading on screen more legible?
