I have 8 NIC ports available on my Xenserer host, with two ports connected to the network. However, I cannot seem to utlize the second NIC port for my Xenserver VM Windows 2003 guests. It can only use the same port that I use for the Xencenter managment console. Is there something I need to configure manually to make the second NIC port available to the Windows VM guests?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

at the console for the xenserve you can go into Network management interface configuration and arrow down the
list to the other nic and then configure the ip address of the second nc. The problem is that if you do this in xen
center console, it will make the last nic you configured the management interface, so you may have to then re-
connect on that other ipaddress, so this is best done from the xenserver console., when you have configured all
subsequent nics, go back and edit the first one again, so it becomes he management interface again.
