The first problem would be that the users can't access the servers while the X-Ray Equipment is in use. If the computers are in the X-Ray room for long enough the computers could become irradiated and cause potential health risks to anyone servicing the computers.

Thanks Mrdenny. Sorry, I didn’t explain myself very well. By close proximity, I mean next door, room above, that type of thing. The Health and Safety issues I’ve got covered it’s the issue of potential hazard to the life of the servers I need answering.
I agree with Mrdenny. If you wanted to you could hire someone with the right equipment to come out and test for electromagnetic radiation in/around your server room.

As long as the X-ray room is properly shielded there shouldn’t be a problem at all.
