I’ll give it a WAG. Many laptops have Intel chipsets with Intel wireless LAN cards and Intel loves their Intel Pro connection management software this software. Most OEM systems with Intel wireless LAN cards installed have the Intel Pro software installed from the factory which disables the WZC service. Uninstall the software by modifying the install leaving only the network driver (it is important that you leave the driver installed). Then enable the WZC service.

Have you installed a 3rd party software to install in your laptop to configure the wireless adapter? This may cause it The third party software seems to have disabled the Microsoft’s Wireless Zero Configuration service. You need to re-enable it. If possible, provide more clear picture about your problems.

You probably installed an aditional wireless adapter and it could be conflicting with the built-in adapter, or it is not properly configured.

If that is the case you might want to disable this adapter, or configure it correctly, but some configuarion tools may disable the “Wireless zero configuration” by default, and you may need to use the configuration tool that was provided with the new adapter, or in any case use it to enable the WZC service.
