Enter SMBJOB and F4. the JOBQ defaults to the JOBQ for the Job Description for the person submitting the job. If you want a different JOBQ simply enter it at the appropriate place.

This will also work if you are using Job Scheduler.

• the job in question is below. it is now going to jobq XJQUPDAT. i believe that it is picking this up thru the jobd. i would like to change the jobd or just change the jobq. i do not know the best way to handle this. any/all suggestions are welcome. • Hi, If you change the *JOBD then all the jobs that use this *JOBD will also go to the other *JOBQ. That may not be what you want. It may be a safer option to change the CL program or job schedule entry that starts this job to specify the correct *JOBQ. Regards, Martin Gilbert.
