Submit Job (SBMJOB)

Type choices, press Enter.

Command to run . . . . . . . . .

Job name . . . . . . . . . . . . *JOBD Name, *JOBD
Job description . . . . . . . . *USRPRF Name, *USRPRF
Library . . . . . . . . . . . Name, *LIBL, *CURLIB
Job queue . . . . . . . . . . . *JOBD Name, *JOBD

More…
F3=Exit F4=Prompt F5=Refresh F10=Additional parameters F12=Cancel
F13=How to use this display F24=More keys

Enter SMBJOB and F4. the JOBQ defaults to the JOBQ for the Job Description for the person submitting the job. If you want a different JOBQ simply enter it at the appropriate place.

This will also work if you are using Job Scheduler.

    Hi, If you change the *JOBD then all the jobs that use this *JOBD will also go to the other *JOBQ. That may not be what you want. It may be a safer option to change the CL program or job schedule entry that starts this job to specify the correct *JOBQ. Regards, Martin Gilbert.
