I can&#039;t recall ever needing such a function at any site I&#039;ve worked. I&#039;ve always been able to recover deleted records just by using native functions.

		<description><![CDATA[PutzGrilla, thanks.&#160; I have used DBU for many years.&#160; Not sure on current pricing but the last I knew it was several thousand.&#160; IBM kinda messed them up on V5R4 by changing internal stuff so the Retrieve Deleted Records function no longer worked.WrkDbf is very reasonable but money is limited.&#160; I don&#039;t blame the author&#160;one bit&#160;for wanting to supplement his retirement. &#160;Runqry *n filename, SQL and upddta are the free alternatives.&#160; Oh, SEU to find key fields for logical files.&#160; Boring, long way around, but it works.&#160; I had not used UPDDTA in 14 years.&#160;&#160; It will come up with the key fields to the file.Nick]]></description>
