 Would Exchange server be effected while transfering FSMO to different DC
Active Directory, Exchange 2000
We upgrading our AD structure to 2003 from 2000. After carefull /preps; two new 2k3 servers are added into existing domain and promoted as DCs. NOW the FSMO needs to be moved to one of these new ones from old server and I have the information on how to move FSMO roles. My concern is Exchange; which is running on separate clustered nodes in domain. WOULD THE EXCHANGE SYSTEM HAVE ANY EFFECT OF THIS FSMO MOVE? Where do I have to tell Exchange about this move besides DNS entries? Any help is appreciated, Thanks

Provided your new AD & DNS are healthy, this should be seamless. You might want to re-boot the cluster nodes after hours after you make the changes, just to lock everything down solid.
