Why is it that in this new version of Office 2007, there is not a second set of minimize, restore and close buttons for a document? You cannot close a single document without closing the whole Word app! Is there a way to add these back in? Excel still has the extra set and I can leave the app open, even if I don't have a doc open. Totally annoying! Any ideas how to fix?

From Office Button – click on the BIG Office button (Microsoft’s logo which now replaces the “File” menu>Close, or

Add the “Close” button to your Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) – Right click any of the Ribbon’s tabs>Customize QAT, click Choose commands from arrow>Office Menu, then scroll to find and double click Close button to add

Add X button – WARNING! The downside to this third option is ALL documents will reside in ONE Word window, so then the only way to find what you have open is in Word click View tab>Switch Windows>whatever two or more Word documents you have open and want to view
