You should be able to do this from the administrative console of the router. Do you have access to that? Can you give us the details of what router you are using? We can help better if you provide more details.

Log into your router and change the lease duration for longer time, If you can specify the router model we can provide you the required commands.

Can you describe why you wish to increase the lease time? DHCP leases really have no effect on communications with the access point itself.
