My friend has a Compaq nc4000 that she purchased from the IT Department at her lawfirm. Everything on the laptop works great except that it does not detect wireless access points. Tried refreshing, reinstalling drivers from HP and ensured the hardware was detected. It shows as if was working properly, but yet we are unable to connect without using an Ethernet cable. Any ideas would be appreciated. Even the simplest ideas would work. Might of bypassed something easy to check. Thanks.
