AS/400
I need to be able to login to an iSeries remotely utilizing; Palm, cell phone, etc. Based on our network setup there are parms to consider: ability to pass Cisco VPN, or dial-in directly into the iSeries. Is there any solution available out there and what software/hardware would be required? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I’m not sure of the link, but there are authorized devices on the IBM web site that are able to dial into the AS400 absed on a Palm or Java based device(Treo and Blackberry come to mind) You can also use a Pocket PC that uses the TN5250 emulator for pocket pcs. As for going through a VPN connection you would have to set up an authentication protocal with your security people that would work with your device.Pocket PCs that also could be used as a phone are the most promising.
