When I am loading a document into my printer it takes FOREVER to spool the info, even for a single page it can take up to five minutes before the actual "print job" begins. Anything more than a single page and I migt end up cancelling the job due to the extremely long time for it to load up. My PC is a "senior citizen." It is an AMD Sempron processor, single core 32 bit.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Try seeing if the software will allow to to turn off the data cache before printing and just print directly. This way, the minute you hit print, it should start to print automatically. On color documents, you have no choice, it will take awhile because it has to cache itself. You may want to start saving your pennies for a new system, they are not that expensive anymore, even a used laptop is only three to four years old and cost about $200.
