 WinExit.scr settings for automated logoff
I need to configure my lab PC's so that users are logged out after 10 minutes of idle time. I have got the screen saver working, but I am having trouble setting a custom configuration for the screen saver. Everything I have read online says the settings are stored in HKEY_Current_UserControl PanelScreen Saver.Log off , however the only string value I have in that key is (default) with no value. Where does it store the settings?!?! I was told that the winexit.scr would use the following keys; [HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelScreen Saver.Logoff] "ForceLogoff"="1" "CountDownTimer"="300" "DialogMessage"="You will be logged off. Press cancel to abort." If I manually put these keys in it makes no difference. The screensaver still uses whatever was last configured for it. I have tried putting in off the wall values in the configuration and then searching the entire registry for them with no luck.
