This process for turning password request in IE back on: Tools > Internet Options Select the Content tab. For IE 7 click Settings button next to AutoComplete For IE 6 click Auto Complete Click on "Prompt me to save passwords" and click OK IE should then start to ask if you want to save passwords. Good Luck -Flame ************************** If you are using Firefox as web browser: Tools > Options > Security Select the "Remember passwords for sites" check box. Click the "Exceptions" button if you want to see which sites you have already tell the browser to never remember passwords. Using Windows Password Unlocker to reset your user password.
IF you only lost your user password. You can login in administrator account to delete your username or password.
You press “ctrl”+”alt”+”delete” 2 times and login your administrator.

If you do not elect to save the password for a site login, and want it to be saved the next time you login, make sure the remember me box is not ticked. Then when logging in the next time, enter user name and password, then most browsers should ask if you want to save the password. It’s not always the case, but most times it will ask to save the login information.

@Edelic, the question was asking about loging into a web site, not about loging onto your user account on a computer.
