		<description>Y'all can disregard this one.   Suddenly I am able to uncheck MUTE which I could not do before, and the volume is now working.  Apparently resetting the user account did something after all.</description>

		<description>Thanks, yes I did check that previously and a couple more times because that kept bugging me.  I have even deleted her user account completely and entered a new one for her thinking it might be some internal UID problem.  So far nothing works.</description>
