Windows Server 2008 Installation
During a clean install of Windows Server 2008 X64 Standard Edition, an error occurs: "Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code 0x8007045D." During installation, expanding and formatting partitions seems to succeed. The same server can run Windows Server 2003 X64 just fine. Does anyone have any ideas? user submitted

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Did you burn the installation disc yourself ?

The disc could be the problem.
