Windows Server 2008 R2 DHCP error not a reserved client
Windows Server 2008 R2, DHCP scope, DHCP, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 error messages
When i try to add a reservation to a DHCP scope on my windows server 2008 r2 i get the following error message:

The specified DHCP client is not a reserved client.

I dont have this issue with my windows server 2003 when trying to reserver clients

Is the 2008 R2 server an authorized DHCP server in AD? Can other reservations or DHCP scopes be created? Also, is the address you are trying to assign this reservation outside the range that is specified in the scope?
